Hi everyone!
I love visiting Israel. Besides enjoying seeing family and friends, it is a great place to visit. The weather is perfect, the food is amazing, and there are always so many things to do. Here are some of the highlights of my visit so far:
Eating in Raphael
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Tel Aviv. The food is novel Mediterranean cuisine. Raphael is the name of the chef who owns the restaurant. If you are ever in Tel Aviv, please try it.
Tel Aviv Museum
The Tel Aviv Museum is also one of my favorite destinations. It is an art museum that was expanded a few years ago and a new building was added to it. The architect who designed the most recent addition to the museum is Preston Scott Cohen. It’s a very contemporary building and it houses a permanent collection of contemporary art, as well as some changing, temporary exhibits. In the first photo, it’s me, Daniel (my son), and Ella, my niece.
A few more artworks that we viewed and liked:
Yaacov Agam
I love Yaacov Agam’s Optical Art. Check out his work online if you’re into this kind of art.
I also took some photos of the building that houses the museum.
I took a stroll on the beach right by the apartment we rented with my son and his partner.
We visited the old city of Jaffa and its port. It is very close to Tel Aviv and I always visit this old and charming city when I am in Tel Aviv.
I am very tired, so I’m going to go to sleep. Next week, I will highlight my visit to Jerusalem and more. Keep an eye out for my next blog.
Farewell from the Holy Land, and thank you for visiting my blog!
