This weekend I took Laila, my dog, to Sheep meadow in Central Park. We love to go to Central Park early when dogs can be off leash. It’s also not too crowded when you go right at 9:30 when the meadow opens. Notice that there are no people in my pictures!? Quite extraordinary for Sheep meadow, in the summer sometimes there are even lines to get in.It is called Sheep meadow because sheep really used to graze there. According to Wikipedia, they were moved to Prospect Park in Brooklyn in the 1930’s because people were scared they would get eaten during the great depression. So interesting. New York has a very rich history.
Also here is a little glimpse at what is in the Necklace Sample Sale right now. I love this piece. I think this copper color is perfect for summer. It looks amazing with a white top. And it is quite a bargain at only $28.
